Believe it or not, you have a unique set of knowledge, passion, and skills that can be turned into a successful virtual business.

The longer you've been doing whatever it is that you do (professionally, or as a hobby) that generally becomes increasingly true.

Most of the women I work with in my private coaching programs are in their 40s, 50, and 60s so they typically have decades of experience under their belts at this point in their lives and careers.

That, my friend, is untapped gold that can be packaged and shared with others allowing you to make a larger impact on the world while making a profit at the same time.

In my book, "Shine Online: How To Start Virtual Business and Gain the Freedom and Flexibility to Live Your Best Life, Now!", I break down the steps required to set up your virtual business.

Here are some tips on how to get started:

  • Identify your skills and passions: Take some time to think about what you are good at and what you enjoy doing. This could be anything from writing to photography, social media management to graphic design. Especially consider if there's anything people often come to you for help with or advice on.
  • Determine your target market: Once you have identified your skills and passions, think about who your ideal client or customer would be. What problems are they facing that you can help solve with your skills? Or what knowledge could you pass on and teach to this ideal client?
  • Package your knowledge into simple digital products that can easily be shared with others. From pdf guides and ebooks, to an online course, or 1:1 coaching the possibilities are endless but you can keep it simple and pick ONE to create first.
  • Build your brand: Your brand is what sets you apart from the competition. Choose a unique name, logo, and color scheme that reflects your personality and the products you offer.
  • Create a website: A website is essential for any virtual business. It's your online storefront and a place where potential clients and customers can learn more about you and your products and services.
  • Network and market yourself: Use social media and other online platforms to connect with potential clients and customers. Join online groups and forums where your target audience hangs out and share your expertise.
  • Offer exceptional customer service: Word of mouth is a powerful marketing tool, so make sure you go above and beyond for your clients and customers. Deliver high-quality work and put your heart and soul into everything you create for your customers.

By following these tips, you can turn your skills and passions into a successful virtual business.

Don't be afraid to take the leap and start your own business – we live in an exciting time and the possibilities truly are endless!

Happy launching!
